Pretty sure it isn’t mange. If you look at the cast page, it mentions that there was an accident that left Chris and Rat badly burned. I’d guess their fur never grew back where they were burned.
Welp, nothing states that Irving died in a CAR accident. We can only assume since it is their favorite hobby to fix it. However there are two dialogs (Pages 4 and 9) where they imply “To burn the house down.”, and if we connect these to Chris and Theo scars something might be up.
Regardless… I’m curious about his backstory and how did he hook with Ma.
He definitely has blue eyes.
