I’m sure quite a few fellow readers here would say his family is dysfunctional and/or highly unusual but personally I think he’s got a good thing going here. His family is accepting of his life choices, even his mother who has a very rough tolerance (I believe anyway) seems accepting. I really like how they communicate, it’s very believable and/or very close to reality on how some families (rural families like mine anyway) fight, argue and even physically assault one another from time to time yet make peace and stick together.
Only thing missing is the patriarchal grandfather who is sound asleep most of the time and the family fights in taking turns to make sure grandad is still breathing and/or wants to be moved towards or away from the TV. :P
He’s my favorite of the family.
NEEERRDS. The best.
Relatively surprised that his family didn’t have more to say about him being gay.
Heh, my family… they’d be like, “You’re suffering from early stages of schizophrenia.. Here, take these drugs. They’ll take the gay away.
Be thankful for the free drugs, drugs are expensive. :)
